Peru Chuncho is a cacao with an ancient story that begins deep in the valley of the Peruvian Andes. Here, where the wilderness of the mountains meets the jungle of the upper Amazon, grows a rare indigenous variety of cacao. According to the Kus Kakaa brand, this is where the cacao is said to have historically originated. It grew wild here before humans spread it across the Andes to Ecuador, Central America and Mexico.
